What Type Of Fragrances Do You Sell?
All our products are Parfum (Extrait De Parfum). With a minimum of 20% Fragrance concentrate.
Are These Real Brand Perfumes?
We do not sell real designer brand perfumes. These are inspired by the well known brands, and are made using the same high quality ingredients and manufacturing standards.
What Is Inspired By?
They are products which are inspired by a stated designer fragrance, NOT a replica or copy, this is not to be confused.
How Identical Are Your Products Compared To The Real Ones?
While our products are very close to the original, it is impossible to ever get a 100% match. We estimate our products to be 90% identical to the original.
Are Your Products Vegan Friendly And Cruelty Free?
Yes. Our products do not contain any animal derived ingredients: they are 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
Are They Safe To Spray On Cothes?
Because EDP’s have higher concentration than, say, Eau de Toilette. It should be applied directly to the skin as the oil can stain clothes. We do recommend that you take care when applying on clothes, as you do so at your own risk.
Why Are Your Perfumes So Affordable?
Since we do not spend a lot on expensive advertising, or packaging, we are able to pass on the huge savings to our customers.
How Long Do They Last?
As with all Eau de Parfums, our pefumes last at least 10-12 hours which means they last as long as the high street brands, and sometimes even longer.
How Do I Store My Perfume?
As with all fragrances, they should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from hot/cold elements. Not doing this may have a negative effect on your perfume,
Order FAQs
Can I Change Or Cancel My Order After It Has Been Placed?
If your order hasn’t already been dispatched, we may be able to make changes to your order. Please Contact Us as soon as possible and we’ll be happy to help in any way we can.
Do You Ship Internationally?
No we only ship within the UK
When Will My Order Be Shipped?
Once an order is placed, we will ship your item within 48 hours (Mon-Fri). Orders placed on a Friday (after 12 PM), Saturday or Sunday will be dispatched on the following Monday (excluding bank holidays)
How Long Before I Receive My Order?
You should receive your package within 1-4 working days (excluding bank holidays). For Highlands and Islands this could be 1 day longer
What If My Item Arrives Damaged?
Please take pictures of the outer packaging, the damaged bottle(s) ensuring the bottle number is visible and email the pictures to care@velvetscents.co.uk. Unfortunately damage incidents need to be investigated so we need sufficient photographic evidence. Please do not dispose of the bottles or packaging until we have advised you that we completed our investigations. All damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt.
What If I Received The Wrong Item?
Please check your order confirmation alongside the order you have received and if there are any discrepancies, please email care@velvetscents.co.uk. with a picture of all the items received . All error must be reported within 7 days of receipt
What Is Your Returns Policy?
We accept products back within 30 days for a refund or exchange.
We understand if you have done a test of one or two sprays before returning, however, we do not accept bottles that have been used more than this or outside our 30 day policy and they will be returned to you.
Please note that products bought as part of a bundle set must be returned as a set for a refund otherwise we can only offer an exchange.. Please email care@velvetscents.co.uk for further details.
Where Is My Exchange/Refund?
Refunds are processed within 7 working days of our receipt of your return. We are not responsible for returns lost by your courier during return transit.
Exchanged items will be sent out with 2-3 working days after receipt of your return. Shipping times will follow the same timelines as a new order
Can I Pick Up In Store?
Unfortunately we do not have a storefront and are unable to offer pick ups.

What Are Your Opening Hours?
We are open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, and will answer any questions within 24 working hours during this time. Please do not send messages on multiple formats as they are answered in order of receiving them.
